So, I was uploading multicolour marathon regularly for a small amount of time. I only got through the first two episodes and never finished the third. So, why did this happen? And do I plan on keeping on with uploading it? Well I stopped for a number of reasons. First of all, it took a crazy amount of time to do this. I thought because it was very simple animation, it wouldn't be too bad, but I was really reaaaaally wrong. I had also spent months beforehand, writing the plot, scripting the scenes and runnign the events. Then while I was actively working on the project I also wrote the music, and made the leaderboards as well making the animations and textboxes. This was very time-consuming and created a whole host of other problems. This meant I had a lot less time for editing and my actual coursework I needed to work on as well. This also was bad for my eyes, looking at a screen for hours at a time. None of this was really sustainable. Not for long anyways. And this also got me really burned out on this project. Which was unfortunate considering the work I put into it beforehand.
BUT THIS ISN'T OVER TIL I SAY IT IS! I'm not throwing in the towel just yet, I have a story to tell and I'm gonna tell it goddammit! So. Since I was planning to start hosting it on here anyways, that's what I will attempt to do. Once I find a place I can host the videos, I will make pages for each of the currently uploaded episodes, and then I will start uploading newer episodes, at a considerably slower pace. And I will continue with the project's creation that way, a way that's hopefully much more feasible. The show will go on! Soon... I hope. Time will tell!
So I ran into a problem. The file storage I use has a size limit for files uploaded and some of the video files are above that due to the size of the challenges. So... I split the video files. The first episode is split into four videos, in consecutive order. The second episode is just the one though, future episodes will vary based on the size of the challenges.
Also, it has been mentioned to me before that the dialogue is hard to read sometimes, so I've added a collapsible text box with the dialogue for each scene below the videos.
